Orphnebius (Mesocephalobius) funestus DVOŘAK, 1996: 1 f.
T y p e m a t e r i a l e x a m i n e d Holotype ♀: " Vietnam, 8.1.1981, Taj Nguen, Bud Lioj, 65 km N Ankche, A. Pokarževskij lgt. / Holotypus / Orphnebius funestus sp. n., det. M. Dvořák.88 / ex coll. M. Dvořák, National Museum Prague, Czech Republic / Zyras funestus (Dvořák) View in CoL , det. V. Assing 2015" (NMP). Paratype ♀: same data as holotype, but " Allotypus " (NMP).
C o m m e n t: According to the original description, the type material is based on a male holotype, a female allotype, and a male paratype ( DVOŘÁK 1996). The holotype and the allotype were located in the collections of the NMP. An examination of these specimens revealed that both of them are females and that they belong to Zyras sensu strictu, clearly not to Orphnebius ( Figs 56-59 View Figs 54-59 ). The species is closely allied to Zyras hirtus (KRAATZ, 1859) , Z. setosivestis SCHEERPELTZ, 1965 , and related species.
