6. Imbralyx leucanthus (Kurz) View in CoL Z.Q. Song, comb. nov.
≡ Millettia leucantha Kurz, J. Asiat. Soc. Bengal, Pt. 2, Nat. Hist. 42(2): 68. 1873 ( Kurz 1873). ≡ Millettia pendula Benth. ex Baker in Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India 2(4): 105.1876 ( Baker 1876), nom. superfl. Type:— MYANMAR. Pegu, Yomah, E. and W. Slopes, S. Kurz 2600 (lectotype: K000848723!, designated by Mattapha et al. (2019b); isolectotypes: K000848724!, K000848725!, K000848726!).
= Millettia utilis Dunn, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1914 (6): 207. 1914 ( Dunn 1914). Type:— MYANMAR. Pegu, Wunpeiu Reserve, 500 ft., 23 February 1913, J. H. Lace 6101 (lectotype: K000848721!, designated by Mattapha et al. (2019b); isolectotypes: E00301099!, E00301100!, E00301101!, K000848719!, K000848720!).
= Millettia latifolia Dunn, J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 41(280): 187. 1912 ( Dunn 1912). ≡ Millettia leucantha var. latifolia (Dunn) P.K.Lôc, Fl. Cambodge, Laos & Vietnam 30: 113. 2001 ( Lôc & Vidal 2001). Type:— THAILAND. Chieng Mai, Doi Suthep, 1200 ft., 30 March 1911, A. F. G. Kerr 1733 (lectotype: K000848788!, designated by Mattapha et al. (2019b); isolectotypes: BM000997284!, E00275441!, K000848790!, P02141824 image!).
Notes: Mattapha et al. (2019b) designated the lectotype of Millettia leucantha Kurz , but several errors need to be corrected. First, the barcodes of the lectotype (“K000845723”) and a isolectotype (“K000845724”) should be corrected into K000848723 and K000848724, respectively. Second, the specimen K000848722 (“K000845722”) should be excluded from the list of isolectotypes, because it was collected by N. Wallich from Prome. Additionally, Mattapha et al. (2019b) designated the specimen (K000848788) as the lectotype of Millettia latifolia Dunn , which was collected on 30 March 1911. We found that several fruiting specimens were also labeled with the same number “1733” by the same collector A. F. G. Kerr, but they were collected on 11 May 1911 (BM000997285) or 21 May 1911 (E00275440, K000848789). Thus, these fruiting specimens should be regarded as the remaining syntypes of Millettia latifolia Dunn other than isolectotypes.
Moreover, the record of this species from China by Wei & Pedley (2010) is based on the finding by Qian (2001), who first recorded Millettia pendula Benth. (an illegitimate, superfluous name of Millettia leucantha Kurz ) in China based on two gartherings collected from Yunnan province (Y. Y. Qian 2518, 2243). However, examination of the two gartherings (PE00461514, PE 00461515) shows that both are misidentification of Imbralyx leptobotrys (Dunn) Z.Q. Song. Any other specimens of Imbralyx leucanthus was not found from China, thus the record of the species should be excluded from the flora of China.
