≡ Millettia nivea Dunn, J. Linn. Soc., Bot. 41(280): 189. 1912 ( Dunn 1912). ≡ Fordia nivea (Dunn) U.A.Dasuki & Schot, Blumea View in CoL 36(1): 199, fig. 2. 1991 ( Dasuki & Schot 1991). Type:— INDONESIA. Sumatra, River Roepit, 300 ft., 1881, H. O. Forbes 2916 (holotype: K000628211!; isotypes: CAL0000008132–8135 image!).

Notes: In the protologue of Millettia nivea Dunn , a single collection ( H. O. Forbes 2916) was cited by the author. We traced five sheets of the collection at two different herbaria, of which only one ( K000628211 ) was labelled with “ typum ” by Dunn and thus it should be regarded as the holotype and the four from CAL as isotypes .
