Type:— TURKEY. C 10 Hakkari: Cilo Tepe, 3353 m, 8 viii 1954, loose scree, Davis & O. Polunin, D. 24064 (holotype K!).
Flowering time:— August.
Habitat:— Loose limestone scree and crevices. 3000‒3355 m elevation.
Distribution:— Endemic. Irano-Turanian element.
Note: — This species, which is distributed in the Hakkari region, has not been collected despite that area has been herborised several times. However, some places in the territory have not been reached for safety reasons, but the species has been searched in possible similar habitats without success. Type specimens of the species were identified at K and the species description was made according to that material. Taking into account the possibility of its presence in the further study, it has been keep it on the species identification key.
