Type:— TURKEY. C4 Içel , distr. Gülnar , Bozağaç-Ahirini, between Gülnar and Gilindire, 700 m, 14 April 1956, Davis & O. Polunin, D. 26041 (holotype K!; isotypes B, M, E) .
Specimens seen:— TURKEY. Mersin: Aydıncık-Gülnar, Yeniyörük Village-Bozağaç , under and in clearings Quercus forest, calcareous rocky, 737 m, 21 April 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2340 ( GAZI) ; ibid., 15 June 2013, M. E. Uzunhisarcıklı 2436 ( GAZI) .
Flowering time: —April–June.
Habitat: —Calcareous rocky, under and in clearings Quercus forest. 700‒750 m elevation.
Distribution: —Endemic. Mediterranean element.
