Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Contayo Hills, Rio Tapiche, 700 ft; IX-1926. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9493 ( Chamberlin 1941; Martínez-Torres 2016).

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
