Diagnosis. Punctulata trunciformis can be distinguished from its congeners by the uncus with basal 1/4 greatly widened, thereafter distinctly narrowed to apex ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 10–15 ). It is similar to P. guangxiensis , sp. nov., and the differences between them are stated under P. guangxiensis .
Description. Adult ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 4–9 ) with wingspan 15.0– 16.5 mm. Body color and forewing pattern in female same as those in male.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 16–18 ). Papillae anales setose, rounded on caudal margin. Apophyses anteriores about 3/5 length of apophyses posteriores, inflated distally. Antrum short, cup-shaped, with narrow sclerite laterally. Ductus bursae membranous, slightly narrowed before entrance of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae rounded, slightly longer than ductus bursae; signum situated at junction of ductus bursae and corpus bursae, with two long spines strongly curved before pointed apex.
Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Notes. The female of this species is described for the first time.
