COLLECTOR/S. — Charles-Alexandre Lesueur, contra É. Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire (1810: 91); Desmarest (1821: 109) and Girard (1856: 94) who mention both Péron and Lesueur as its collectors. COLLECTION LOCALITY. — Near Kupang Bay , West-Timor, Indonesia. COLLECTION DATE. — Between 6 May and 3 June 1803. SPECIMEN NUMBER/S. — MNHN-ZM-MO-1996-2123 ( Fig. 50 View FIG ), holotype, skin mount ( Rode 1941: 229).
