status

55. Rhomboptera honorabilis Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1895 ( Figs. 39 View FIGURE 39 , 40 View FIGURE 40 ) (Tettigonioidea, Tettigoniidae , Pseudophyllinae )

Material examined. 1 female (B7.20), Tawau Sungai Imbak [= Sungai Imbak, Tawau], 1 November 1994, coll. FRC staff, det. M. Muzamil (2011) ( OSF Specimen ID = 145456) ; 1 female (B7.20), Sandakan Forest Research Center , Sepilok, coll. Momin Binti, 24 December 2002, det. M. Muzamil (2011) as holotype of Rhomboptera juharii [M. K. Tan (verified by S. Ingrisch)] ( OSF Specimen ID = 145457) .

Remarks. Five female specimens in total from around Sabah. One of the female specimens was identified by M. Muzamil (2011) as the holotype of Rhomboptera juharii but examination of the specimens suggest that this is probably R. honorabilis . The major difference of this specimen was the smaller habitus size. The introduced species name was also not valid, as there was no apparent published record of this name.
