Chiloxanthus pilosus var. zaitzevi Kiritshenko, 1916: 2 (original description). Chiloxanthus pilosus var. zaitzevi: VINOKUROV (2006) : 704 (lectotype designation).

Two paralectotypes are deposited in NMPC:

Current status. Junior synonym of Chiloxanthus arcticus (J. Sahlberg, 1878) (see BIANCHI & KIRITSHENKO 1923, SCHUH et al. 1987, LINDSKOG 1995, VINOKUROV 2005, AUKEMA et al. 2013).
