Material examined. Type. Holotype ♀: SOUTH AFRICA: Western Cape Province, near Cape Town, Milnerton, I.1926, R.E. Turner leg. ( BMNH).
Redescription. Female: apterous; length 3.4 mm. Completely brown-reddish, except petiole dark and antenna and tarsi testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 20:12:24:15:14:13:12:12:12:17. Head excavated, shiny, smooth, hairless, unsculptured; frontal line complete; occipital carina incomplete, only shortly visible on sides of posterior ocelli; occiput hairy; POL = 3; OL = 5; OOL = 18. Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum shiny, smooth, hairless, unsculptured, crossed by strong transverse furrow. Scutum shiny, with some longitudinal keels, with two pointed lateral apophyses situated on sides of scutellum. Metanotum smooth, not transversely striate, hollow behind scutellum, with sides rounded, not protruding. Metathorax + propodeum shiny, smooth, with anterior surface unsculptured; posterior surface of propodeum, mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsal segmens in following proportions: 14:2:4:11:17. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 15 – 18. 15, 16 ) with two rows of approximately 13 lamellae; distal apex with about 13 lamellae. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 15 – 18. 15, 16 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of five lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
