Report associated with sponges: This species was collected from Ross and Weddell Sea in littoral, bathyal area from hydrozoans and sponges ( Bartsch 1990; Newell 1984). This species was reported among Rossella antarctica and Anoxycalyx (Scolymastra) joubini (cited as Scolymastra joubini ) collected from eastern Weddell Sea ( Bartsch 1995).
