Report associated with sponges: This species was reported from Bora Bora, Society Island among dead corals covered with algae and sponges ( Bartsch 1992b).
Remarks: This species was also reported among Elizabeth Reef, Myrmidon Reef, Loadstone Reef, Club 21 Reef, Great Palm Island (Cannon Bay), Boulder Reef (Great Barrier Reef), Lihou Reef ( Queensland Plateau), Australia among coarse sands, gravels, and rubbles ( Otto 2000a).
