Report associated with sponges: This species has been reported amongst sponge with algae from 8-10 m depth Amity Point , North Stradbroke Island, Queensland, Australia, south-western Pacific ( Bartsch 2015) .
Remarks: This species also inhabits sand, coral rubble, algal turf, amongst epiflora on Avicennia pneumatophores from lower tidal areas to about 10 m depth from Society Island, Singapore and Australia ( Bartsch 2015).
