Treatment

Report associated with sponges: This species was reported among Halichondria (Halichondria) prostrata (cited as H. (H.) hentscheli ) collected from eastern Weddell Sea ( Bartsch 1995).

Remarks: This species was also reported as epibenthic and epizoic from 20 m to 600 m depth ( Lohmann 1907a, b; Newell 1984; Bartsch 1993b).
