Type material. Agrilus presbys Jendek, 2011 . Described from 3 specimens (Holotype & paratypes). Type locality: “ China, Kouy-Tschéou [= Guizhou province]”. Type specimens. Holotype ♀ ( EJCB): “Kouy-Tschéou, R.P.J.R. Chaffanjon, 1903”. Paratypes. 1 PT ( CNC) 1 PT ( MNHN)

Examined specimens. Shaanxi. Zhenba county ; 32°32’N, 107°55’E; 7-1989; alt. 1800 m; Adult host: Rubus corchorifolius L.; 1 ♂ ( EJCB) .

Host plant. Adult: Rubus corchorifolius L.

Distribution. CHINA: Guizhou, Shaanxi.

Remarks. Until now, the species was known only from females. The aedeagus ( Fig. 3H ) is illustrated for the first time. This species belongs together with A. aurigaster and A. yunnanicola , to species with the pronotum widest in the middle. It can be distinguished by the characters given in the key to species.
