Remarks. An arboricolous “short stick mantis” distributed in wooded savannas of Africa south of the Sahara. A second subspecies inhabits Ethiopia to Tanzania east of the Rift Valley ( Lombardo 1995). The biology of Ivorian populations was described by Schwarz (2004).
