Diagnosis

The male of this species is related to Asemonea virgea Wesołowska & Szűts, 2003 , but differs from it by the shape of the palpal tibia, which has a strongly sclerotized outgrowth on the dorsum in A. wagneri sp. nov., while A. virgea has two smaller tubercles – compare Figs 3C View Fig , 4D View Fig with Wesołowska & Szűts (2003: fig. 7).

Etymology

This species is named after the German entomologist Thomas Wagner, who collected arthropods from the canopy in the Budongo Forest.
