Type locality. British Guiana.

Remarks. One of the two small species in the genus along with A. diupsilon . These species may form a complex within the genus as they share general morphological characteristics and are of similar size.

Distribution. Specimens have been reported previously from British Guiana and Guiana ( Metcalf 1963).
