16. Limonium albidum View in CoL group.―The species in this group are pulvinate plants with delicate, fragile stems. They have no sterile branches. Their leaves are spathulate and densely rosulate, and their spikelets are remotely arranged. In Greece, the group is only represented by L. frederici (Karpathos and small islands around N Crete) and L. heraionense (Cape Melangavi in South Attica). Several species of this group occurring in Sicily and its neighbouring islets.
