Csuzdi & Sciberras (2014) reported it from around St. Georges Bay, a heavily urbanized area surrounding a small valley (Wied Harq Hamiem). Trans-Aegean, absent from the Iberian Peninsula, France, Sardinia and North Africa. In southern Italy it is only known from Apulia and eastern Sicily (Avola, Siracusa Province; Omodeo 1964).
