Abbreviated Description. Indumentum of simple hairs, leaflets 9–11, opposite or subopposite, 3.2–3.8 cm long, 1.4–1.7 cm broad, broadly elliptic, discolorous, inflorescence ca. 7 cm long, a few-flowered panicle, petals 5, ca. 6.5 mm long, free, imbricate, filaments completely fused, margin without appendages, anthers 10, nectary cyathiform, ovary 3-locular, strigose, locules with 2 superposed ovules (according to Jussieu’s original description), style-head large, capitate, fruit unknown.

Distribution. Known only from the type collection.
