Abbreviated Description. Indumentum of minute appressed basifixed hairs, leaflets 5–7, alternate to subopposite, 18 × 5.9–20 × 7 cm, broadly oblong or elliptic, venation brochidodromous, inflorescence 3–4.5 cm long, a thyrsoid fascicle, petals 4–5, 3.25–4 mm long, fused for 1/2 their length, valvate, erect, filaments completely united into a cyathiform or shortly cylindrical staminal tube, anther 7–8, nectary absent, ovary appressed pubescent, 3-locular, locules with 2 collateral ovules, capsule (immature) ovoid, smooth, appressed puberulous.
