NOTES
Evidence has been published by Pailler et al. (2024), based on DNA analysis and morphological comparison, that this species better fits into the genus Cynorkis , its correct name is therefore Cynorkis micrantha (Frapp. ex Cordem.) Schltr. Note that Schlechter published another Cynorkis micrantha the same year ( Botanische Jahrbücher fur Systematik, Pflanzengeschichte und Pflanzengeographie v.53: 388, 1915), it is a nom. illeg., synonym of Cynorkis anacamptoides Kraenzl.
