Poecilimon zimmeri Ramme, 1933

Material examined. Turkey: Konstantinopel [İstanbul Prov.], 9.5.1908, 2 males, 1 female (paratypes) (leg. v. Sydow) ( MfN) .

Remarks. This species was described by Ramme (1933: 547, 548) based on specimens from three locations. The holotype is from the Parnass Region of mainland Greece. The material examined here is paratypes from İstanbul. It was listed in Turkish fauna ( Karabağ 1958: 28; Ünal 2011). According to Willemse (1982: 184), this record from İstanbul is quite improbable. There is no doubt that these three specimens belong to this species, and their label data as given above ( Figs. 94–98 ). To date, it has not been found in İstanbul or Turkey again. It is possible that it is mislabelled.
