Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran ( Ghahari et al. 2010a; Khajeh et al. 2014, Kermanshah ( Hazini et al. 2015).
Distribution outside Iran. Widely distributed in Europe ( Shenefelt 1974). Belgium, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden ( Yu et al. 2012), England ( Haliday 1839 as Alysia uliginosa, Broad et al. 2012 ; Yu et al. 2012), Germany ( Ruschka 1913 as Gerocampa thienemanni ; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary ( Papp 2004a; Yu et al. 2012), Ireland ( Broad et al. 2012; Yu et al. 2012), Korea ( Papp 2007b, 2009a), Mongolia (2005a; Yu et al. 2012), Russia (Tobias 1998; Lelej 2012; Yu et al. 2012), Ukraine ( Perepechayenko 2008; Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Hydrellia griseola (Fallen, 1813) , H. nigripes (Meigen, 1830) ( Diptera : Ephydridae ), Liriomyza strigata (Meigen, 1830) ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012), Hydrellia sp. ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Lelej 2012), and Chromatomyia horticola ( Goureau, 1851) ( Hazini et al. 2015) .
