Paratypes: 2 ♂, same data as in the holotype (Coll. MWM/ ZSM) ; 1 ♂, Philippines, Negros Isl. , Mt. Canlaon, I–IV.1995, Sato (Coll. MWM/ ZSM) ; 1 ♀, Philippines, Negros (S), Mt. Talinis, 1200 m, III.1998, leg. Bal, slide MWM 33667 (♀) Volynkin (Coll. MWM/ ZSM) .
Diagnosis. Forewing length is 12–12.5 mm in males (12 mm in the holotype) and 14 mm in females. Barsine visaya sp. n. is similar externally to B. kishidai sp. n., but differs by its smaller size and medial line being more strongly curved at anal wing margin. The male genitalia of B. visaya sp. n. are most similar to those of B. nemea sp. n., but differ by their valva being more broadened distally, almost straight costa (that is curved in B. nemea sp. n.), narrower medial costal process, shorter distal costal process, distal saccular process being hook-like curved dorsally (that is straight in B. nemea sp. n.), broader subbasal ventral diverticulum, and smaller cornuti in medial diverticulum. The female genitalia of B. visaya sp. n. differ from those of B. nemea sp. n. by the longer and broader appendix bursae.
Distribution. The Philippines (Negros Island).
Etymology. Visayas are the Philippine ethnolinguistic groups native to the Visayas, the southernmost islands of Luzon Isl. and most parts of Mindanao Isl.
