Diagnosis. Forewing length is 11–11.5 mm in males. Externally, B. chi resembles B. visaya sp. n., B. kishidai sp. n. and B. hypoprepioides , but differs from them by its strongly dentate postmedial line. In addition, B. chi is significantly smaller than B. visaya sp. n,. B. kishidai sp. n., and has a smoothly curved medial line (that is angled in B. hypoprepioides ). The male genitalia of B. chi are most similar to those of B. hypoprepioides due to the vesica shape, but differ by the more elongated vinculum apex, valva being much broader distally, slightly more robust medial costal process, much larger and almost straight distal costal process (that is shorter and claw-like curved in B. hypoprepioides ), much larger, robust distal saccular process, trigonal medial diverticulum of vesica with a cluster of more robust cornuti (that is rounded in B. hypoprepioides and armed with a cluster of smaller cornuti).
Female is unknown.
Distribution. Indonesia (west and south Sulawesi Isl.).
