Genus Auletobius Desbrochers View in CoL
Type species. Involvulus sanguisorbae Schrank, 1798 View in CoL , subsequent designation by Legalov (2001).
Generic diagnosis. Auletobius View in CoL can be recognized by the randomly punctured elytra (except in A. cassandrae View in CoL ), by the slender rostrum, by the unexposed pygidium, by the absence of the scutellary striole, and by the strongly convex, protuberant eyes.
