Distribution

Known only from its type locality of Astrolabe Bay , Papua New Guinea. 385 m, in baited traps .

Material of A. bagabag and A. karkar (see below) was not available for examination, and these species are thus not described or ®gured. However, Lowry and Stoddart (1995) provided excellent descriptions of these species, making any further comments on their morphology unnecessary.
