OCCURRENCE. — Ashikajima Fm (rare).

DISTRIBUTION. — This genus is known from the Precambrian.

DESCRIPTION

Algae grouped in small bulb-like colonies, very altered. Colony diameter = 20-25 µm.

BOTANICAL AFFINITIES

Chlorococcales, Botryococcaceae . Freshwater green algae.
