Heza View in CoL was revised by Maldonado (1976, 1983), followed by further contributions summarized by Swanson (2021). This species-rich genus has a broad geographical distribution, its 43 described species are found from the USA to Argentina ( Maldonado 1990, Swanson 2021). The only species of Heza View in CoL that have been recorded from French Guiana are H. sericans Stål, 1859 ( Villiers 1971) View in CoL and H. maldonadoi Bérenger, 2007 View in CoL , the latter species described based on specimens collected in this country ( Bérenger 2007). Three additional species are recorded here.
