Archaeognoriste , new genus
DIAGNOSIS: Palpi long, threesegmented, mouthparts reduced. Base of RS present, crossvein rm distinct. All the coxae approximately equal in length. Hind tibiae slightly swollen. Gonostyli with long inner process.
TYPE SPECIES: Archaeognoriste primitiva , n.sp.
ETYMOLOGY: The name is a combination of archaeos (Greek αρxα´os, or ancient) and the genus name Gnoriste . The name is feminine.
