Psithyrus (Allopsithyus) barbutellus subsp. richardsi Popov, 1931:150 , 190, not of Frison, 1930:6 = B. rufipes Lepeletier. PSITHYRUS MAXILLOSUS f. susterai May, 1944:267 , not infrasubspecific after Tkalců, 1977:224. Psithyrus (Allopsithyus) richardsi subsp. licenti Maa, 1948:34.

Material examined. 2 males (IAB).

Distribution in North China. Rare at medium elevations of the Baicaopan nature reserve in Beijing and the Wutaishan forest park in Shanxi. 2 localities ( Fig. 92 ) between 1992–2590 m (IAB).

Distribution in China. Beijing, Shanxi (IAB).

Forage plants. DIPSACACEAE : Scabiosa comosa .
