Diagnosis. Body length 10.0–13.0 mm. Mystax largely confined to oral margin, white, in length equal to 2/3 of proboscis length. Face golden tomentose. Ocellar setae white, as long as scape. Postocular macrosetae white. Palpus reddish yellow.Antenna reddish yellow, apex brown. Scutum reddish brown in dorsal view, with short yellowish setae. Pleuron mainly reddish brown, silvery or golden tomentose without setae. Dorsocentral macrosetae commonly absent, other macrosetae yellow. In lateral view, a definite reddish yellow stripe extends from anterior margin of scutum to scutellum. Scutellum with 2–4 yellowish apical macrosetae. Legs reddish yellow with yellowish setae, the macrosetae on tibiae and tarsi yellow and brown, especially on tarsi. Abdomen reddish yellow. In dorsal view, tergites I–III anteriorly reddish yellow with reddish brown stripe, tergites IV–V with reddish brown stripes broken in the middle and tergites VI–VII completely reddish yellow. Hypopygium reddish brown with yellow setae.
