Distribution. PERU (Loreto) and BOLIVIA (Santa Cruz, Pando, and La Paz).
New record. BRAZIL: Rondônia: Parque Estadual Guajará-Mirim , ii.1998, J. Santos col. ( CAMB) .
Diagnosis. Integument mostly orangish red, scutellum and elytra dark blue with metallic reflections; antennomeres III–X serrate, decreasing in length toward X; prothorax wider than long, centrally with one large, rounded protuberance on each side; pronotum with four gibbosities, two antemedian, proximate, and two laterals, near base ( Monné & Napp 2000).
