Material examined. BRAZIL. Pará: Belém, Research Campus of Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi , 1°27’06.5”S 48°26’38.8”W, 08.IX.2016, leg. F.S. Carvalho-Filho, reared from pupae of Cicinnus infected with an entomophagous fungus (2 females) GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Brazil (Pará, Santa Catarina).
Natural history. The analyzed specimens were obtained from pupae of Cicinnus sp. ( Mimallonidae ) infected with an entomophagous fungus.
Remarks. This species has been recorded only for the type-locality in the state of Santa Catarina, southern Brazil ( Sabrosky & Paganelli 1984). Therefore, this is a new record from the Brazilian Amazon.
