Distribution:— India [Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram], Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Peninsular Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam; 100‒ 600 m.
Notes:—The protologue lists the syntypes Wallich Catalogue Number 3617 from Silhet and Griffith from Khasia, but the latter collection has not been found. Of the two sheets at Kew with the Wallich number 3617, we have chosen the sheet listed above as lectotype because it is the more complete specimen.
