= Eugenia khasiana Duthie (1878: 491) View in CoL . Lectotype (designated here):— INDIA. Khasia Mountains , elev. 1000 ft., Griffith 2391 (K! [barcode K000821345 ]; isolectotype M! [barcode M0225629 ]). Remaining syntype:— J.D. Hooker & T. Thomson s.n. (K!).

Distribution:— India [Meghalaya]; up to 500 m.

Note:—Of the two cited syntypes, the Griffith specimen at Kew is an excellent example of the species and is chosen as lectotype.
