Material studied. Venezuela, Merida, La Punta, on Prosopis velutina (Fabaceae) , 22-X-1984, I. Foldi coll., (N° 9971–1,4; 9973–7) in MNHN. Brazi l, Pernambuco, km 90 south of Petrolina, on Calliandra sp. ,

( Fabaceae ), 10-XII-1985, I. Foldi coll., (N° 10426-1-18) in MNHN; same locality, on Baccharis dracunculifolia (Asteraceae) , same date and collector (N° 10428–1-4; 10433–1-3) in MNHN; Anta Gorda, Videim, on Vitis vinifera (Vitaceae) , (N° 10126–14) in MNHN.

Comment. Vitaceae is a new plant family record for Eriococcus dubius .
