Diagnosis. Refer to the diagnosis of C. endroedyi .
Description. Size (length/width, mm x 100) holotype: body (length to elytral apices) 263/119, head 63/67, pronotum 56/89, elytra 174/119. Dorsum piceous to black. Maxillary palpus length ca. 3/4 width of anterior margin of clypeus, last three palpomeres length ratios as 1/0.8/1, ultomere slightly wider than penultomere. Mentum weakly produced apicomedially; depressed on each side of midline near base. Granules on frons and pronotum similar in size, much finer and sparser on clypeus. Pronotum with nongranulate areas, including middle of median groove, pat of lateral depressions, and along base; sides angulate at midlength, emarginate in front of and straight behind angulation.
Elytral intervals: 2nd with three low, small setose areas, the first longer than the other two, separated by nongranulate smooth sections; 4th with four very small setose areas separated by smooth sections; 1st and 3rd nongranulate over basal 1/4, remainder with unilinear row of very small widely spaced granules; 5th with unilinear row of granules except multiple granules at humeral angle; 7th with noninterrupted unilinear row of granules.
Metasternum with elongate oval depression. Female last sternite not emarginate, subapical depression not rimmed posteriorly; last tergite bilobate, with strong short spines that are not divided into two groups.
Aedeagus length 0.80 mm; mainpiece nearly straight in ventral aspect, moderately sinuate in lateral aspect, gradually widened from midlength to distal end, ridged process short; gonopore process long, proximal 1/2 of upper surface with strongly sclerotized, ridgelike granulations; membranous process slender, length about 0.4 length of gonopore process (Fig. 35).
Etymology. Named in reference to the geographical distribution in the Langeberg Mountains.
Distribution. Currently known from the Langeberge Mountains in Cape Province and two localities near George (Fig. 82).
