DESCRIPTION — MALE: Body length 2.2-2.9 mm. Head and mesosoma dark castaneous or black; metasoma castaneous or dark castaneous. Head (Figure 34). Mandible with four apical teeth. Clypeus with median lobe subtrapezoidal; median tooth rounded or angulate; median carina distinctly incomplete apically and straight in profile. Frons strongly coriaceous. Mesosoma. Pronotal disc with anterior margin ecarinate or carinate, strongly coriaceous. Metapectal-propodeal complex with lateral and posterior areas partly carinate. Metasoma (Figure 129). Tergal process with shallow or deep, longitudinally elliptical and sublateral pair of depression, 0.53 x as long as tergite II, diverging posterad, with long and thin setae on lateral area, inner margin of depression strongly slightly or higher than median region of tergite II; each

depression with small or large tubercle on its inner area, conical in longitudinal section, high, entirely laterad, with small

pit on top, with long tuft of setae laterad. Hypopygium (Figure 221) with median stalk evenly narrow, 1.4-1.8 x as long as hypopygial plate; lateral stalk triangular; posterior margin weakly or strongly concave. Genitalia (Figures 378-379). Aedeagal dorsal body with apex lower than parameral apex, evenly narrow, narrowing progressively apicad. Aedeagal ventral ramus with apex lower than aedeagal dorsal body apex; apical region subangled and smooth. Genital ring produced, each half convex in dorsal view.

FEMALE: Unknown.

ETYMOLOGY — The noun in apposition kasang means peanut in Tok Pisin.
