Geographical distribution. Brazil (Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro [Macaé, Itatiaia]).

Comments. The holotype male and five females are deposited in MNRJ. We revalidate the status of Audreia coriacea . The analyzed specimens do not have tergal modifications on the first and second abdominal tergites, which separates them from Poeciloderrhis (Stål, 1874) nor on the seventh and eighth tergites, which could place them in Epilampra Burmeister, 1838 as reported by Beccaloni (2007). However, the specimens are brachypterous adults, and the phenotypic configuration distinguishes them from Epilampra and Poeciloderrhis .
