Etymology – Thespeciesnamedaccordingtothecolouredmetope (frons).
Description – Metopewide, glossy, lateralmarginsconvex, uppermarginwidelycon- cave ( Fig. 2 View Figs 1–6 ). Metopewithdistincttransverseandmediancarinae; sublateralcarinaemay beindicatedonlyafterthetraces. Metopoclypealsuturerelief. Postclypeuslarge, flattened dorso- ventrally, glossy. Ocelliabsent. Coryphetransverse, withoutcarina; anteriormar- ginobtuselyangulatelyconvex; posteriormarginobtuselyangulatelyconcave. Forewings nearlyoval, narrowingapically, withouthypocostalplate ( Figs 1 View Figs 1–6 , 7). Caudo- dorsalangle ofclavuscuspidal (Fig. 8). ScP+RfurcatinginproximalhalfofthewingintoScP+RAand RP; MP 2-branched, furcatingneartowingmiddle; CuAsimple; crossveinsnotnumerous. Clavusclosed (CuPandPcu + A1 notrunningtoitscuspidalapex, butrunningalongwing margin) (Figs 7, 8). Firstanalvein (A

) becomethemarginalvein. Thisveinisinterrupted metope: R. bimaculatus : 1 mm; Ch. mammoides : 1.3 mm; L. kirkaldyi : 1.5 mm
beforethecuspidalapexofclavus (Fig. 8). Hindwingsbilobed, withdeepcleftbetween remigiumandvannus; costalmarginofthewingsdistinctlyconcave. Hindtibiaewithtwo lateralspinesdistally. Apicesoftibiaewith 7 spines. Firstmetatarsomereabitlongerthan secondmetatarsomere, withtwolatero- apicalspinesand 12 intermediatespinesarranged intworows (6 + 6). Aroliumofpretarsusnotexceedingthelengthofclaws (indorsalview).
Colouration – Metoperedbrownishwithlightyellowspots (tracesoflarvalsensory pitsbetweenlateralmarginsandtracesofsublateralcarinae) ( Fig. 2 View Figs 1–6 ). Transversecarinaof metope, tracesofsublateralcarinae, andbandabovethemetopoclypealsuturelightyellow. Metopebetweentracesofsublateralcarinaeredwithpairoflargeglossyblackspotsbelow thetransversecarinaandwithlightyellowlargeelongatehorizontalspotbelowtheblack spots. Genaelightyellowwithlargeredspotabovethescapus. Scapus, pedicel, andanteclypeusdarkbrown. Postclypeusbrownyellowish. Coryphelightredanteriorly, lightyellow brownishposteriorly, withlightyellowmargins ( Fig. 1 View Figs 1–6 ). Pronotumlightbrownyellowish withlightyellowtubercules – tracesoflarvalsensorypits. Mesonotumlightyellowbrown- ishwithpairoflightbrownspotslaterally. Paranotallobesofpronotumwithblackmargins andlightyellowtransversestripes. Epimeraofmesonotumblackbelowthewings, light yellowmediallyanddarkbrownbasally. Forewingslightbrownwithdarkbrownpatches, veinslightbrownorreddish. Cuspidalapexofclavuswhite. Hindwingsbrown. A 1 – first anal vein; A 2 – second anal vein. Total length of T. frontocolorata sp. n. is 5.6 mm naltergitesbrownreddish. Abdominalsterniteslightyellowbrownish. Femoraandtibiae yellowbrownishwithdarkbrownspotsandlongitudinalredstripesparticularlyontibiae. Apicesof 3rdtarsomeresandclawsdarkbrown. Apicesofspinesblack. Gonoplacsdark brownyellowishwithlightyellowmargins ( Fig. 3 View Figs 1–6 ). Analtubelightyellow.
Femalegenitalia – HindmarginofsternumVIIwithlargemedianprocess ( Fig. 3 View Figs 1–6 ). Theprocesswidewithconvexlateralmargins, concaveapically. Analtubeatleast 3 times aswideaslong. Analcolumnshort. Gonoplacswithoutcarinae.
