Corvus sinaloae Davis View in CoL View at ENA
Corvus sinaloae Davis, 1958: 163 View in CoL (Escunapa, Mexico).
Now Corvus sinaloae Davis, 1958 View in CoL . See Blake and Vaurie, 1962: 269; American Ornithologists’ Union, 1998: 451; Dickinson, 2003: 513; and dos Anjos, 2009: 627–628.
HOLOTYPE: AMNH 71674 About AMNH , adult male, collected at Escuinapa (= Escunapa) de Hidalgo, 22.50N, 105.46W (Times Atlas), Sinaloa, Mexico, on 16 November 1895, by J.H. Batty. GoogleMaps
COMMENTS: Davis cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description. He gave the wing/tail ratios of 10 male and 11 female specimens in AMNH and USNM, but there seems to be no way to identify these specimens. The specimens for which he provided tape recordings were apparently not collected.
