Diagnosis. Forewings with a continuous brown marginal band from R1 to confluence of Cu2-1A. Differing from the known species of Loneura (Group I) in having the central sclerite of the hypandrium with one median posterior process, distally bilobed ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 2–7 ), as in some species of Triplocania ; it also has endophallic sclerites as in some species of Triplocania .
Color. Body brown, with light brown spots. Head ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 2–7 ), with oblique dark brown bands, from the inner margin of each compound eye to a big dark brown area on the front, between the ocellar triangle and the epistomal sulcus. Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Vertex light brown, with dark brown spots. Postclypeus brown, with converging pale and ochre slender bands on each side. Anteclypeus and labrum pale brown, clearer laterally. Genae brown, postgenae light brown, with ochre spots. Antennae: scape and pedicel pale brown. Maxillary palps light brown; Mx4 dark brown distally. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown. Thoracic pleura brown. Legs light brown; coxae with small dark spots; tibiae brown. Wings hyaline, forewings with a marginal brown band from R4+5; pterostigma with proximal and distal brown bands ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 2–7 ). Veins with a dark brown spot at wing margin; marginal pigmented band with hyaline fenestrae from cell m1 to distal end of cell 2a. Hindwing veins with pale brown triangular spots at wing margin. Abdomen dark brown, with small, pale cream irregular spots. Clunium, epiproct and paraprocts pale brown. Hypandrium light brown, phallosome sclerites dark brown.
Morphology. Head ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 2–7 ) H/MxW: 1.51; compound eyes large, H/d: 2.62; IO/MxW: 0.51; vertex slightly below the level of the upper border of the compound eyes; outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with 5 wide denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.32. Forewings ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 2–7 ) L/W: 2.60; pterostigma: lp/wp: 4.57; M six branched; areola postica: la/ha: 1.6, tall, wide, slanted posteriorly, apically rounded. Hindwings ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2–7 ) l/w: 2.78; M four branched. Central sclerite of the hypandrium ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 2–7 ) anteriorly rounded, mesally extended outwards on each side, setae as illustrated. Phallosome ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 2–7 ) anteriorly V-shaped, side struts proximally wide, separated, narrowing distally; external parameres sclerotized, short, apically curved inwards, with a field of short spines; seven endophallic sclerites; anterior pair large, internal pair narrow and almost straight, external pair distally wide; postero-lateral sclerites large, wide proximally and apically curved. Mesal sclerite H-shaped, with anterior arms stout, posterior arms tapered; posterior sclerites transverse, slender, each bearing three acuminate process distally. Paraprocts ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 2–7 ) oval, with setal fields as illustrated; sensory fields with 26 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 2–7 ) broad, posteriorly rounded, slightly concave anteriorly in the middle, setae as illustrated and a field of microsetae along posterior border.

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the Magdalena Department, where the holotype was found.
