Material examined — fourteen females from Bembidion sp. , Ukraine, Crimea, Simferopol District, vicinity of Lozovoe (44°54’N, 34°10’E), Salgir River valley , 01 May 2013, V. Trach coll. GoogleMaps

Distribution — Europe ( Karg, 1965, 1993).

Remarks — The species was previously known only from soil-litter habitats. G. similisetae is new to the fauna of Ukraine.
