Type locality: N Vietnam, Cuc Phuong National Park.
Description note: This species was recently described ( BRANCUCCI & GEISER, 2007) and we are not repeating the description here.
Affinities: This species is clearly distinct from all others because of the broad and short body and the bluish colour of the elytra.
Distribution: N Vietnam.
