Fidicina distanti Goding 1925: 21 View in CoL View Cited Treatment . (Macas, Ecuador)
REMARKS. This is the only species of Guyalna in Bolivia to have the fore wing apical cells bronzed. The green head and thorax with a transverse piceous fascia on the midline of the prothorax ambient fissure and piceous parapsidal sutures, and testaceous abdomen with piceous markings forming two arches on the dorsal abdomen easily distinguish the species.
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported previously from Brazil, Ecuador, and Venezuela ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2013; 2016a).
MATERIAL EXAMINED FOR NEW RECORD. “ Reyes / Beni-BOLIV. / 2/ 20-XII-1956 / LEPena, Col.” one male ( AFSC).
