Orialella boliviana ( Distant, 1904b) View in CoL
Fidicina basispes View in CoL (in part) Walker 1858a: 15. (Tapajos, Brazil)
Cicada boliviana Distant 1904b: 331 View in CoL . (Chimali, Bolivia)
REMARKS. The species can be distinguished by the green coloration at the base of the wings, relatively wide head, and the narrowing posterior body. It can be distinguished from O. aerizulae Boulard, 1986b by the bronzing of the fore wing apical cells, tawny costal margin, and straight subcostal and radius anterior 1 veins along apical cell 1 of O. boliviana . The bronzing is absent, the costal margin is green and the subcostal and radius anterior 1 veins are curved in O. aerizulae .
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2013). The listing of French Guiana in Sanborn (2013) was in error. The listing of Peru by Pogue (1996) is considered to be O. aerizulae (Sanborn in preparation). The species has been reported from Chimali, Bolivia ( Distant 1904b).
